Following a single BELA treatment, you may notice that your skin feels smoother, clean and hydrated. Patients often experience a refreshed appearance and glow.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?
To improve overall skin health and appearance, and for skin conditions such as acne, pigmentation, rosacea and uneven skin tone, it’s important to have a series of treatments for the best result. 3-6 BELA treatments are recommended, and the treatments can be spaced 1-2 weeks apart. After this series, a monthly treatment is recommended for continued support in maintaining healthy skin.
IS THERE DOWNTIME?
BELA is a safe and gentle treatment with no downtime. After the treatment, your skin may have a slight rosy glow for a few hours. This is patient-dependent, based on the level of skin reactivity and sensitivity. You will need to protect your skin with a moisturizer and a physical broad-spectrum chemical-free SPF50. Your technician will recommend the appropriate skincare products needed to optimize your results at home and protect the health of your skin.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF HYDROGEN THERAPY?’
Hydrogen therapy works by combining harmful active oxygen (free radicals) with hydrogen to produce water. When hydrogen water in infused directly into the skin, it neutralizes free radicals and reduces inflammation, while boosting brightness and hydration.
WHAT IS A TREATMENT LIKE WITH THE “Y” HANDPIECE?
The BELA MD Y Handpiece uses microcurrent electrical neuromuscular stimulation (MENS) to provide deep muscle stimulation through a combination of massage and electrical pulses. This helps to promote lymphatic drainage and healthy blood circulation while enhancing skin tone and elasticity.
WHAT IS ELECTROPORATION?
The BELA MD electroporation handpiece applies a tiny electrical field to the skin which opens intracellular channels and increases the penetration of active ingredients applied topically to the skin. It is ideal to pair with any facial treatment for optimal results.
